The State of Michigan Department of Treasury has draft tax forms for the Michigan Business Tax available on its website.  There are 31 new forms and three new instruction books available at the following link: http://michigan.gov/taxes/0,1607,7-238-46621_47362---,00.html.  The draft forms are also available through commercial software vendors, so tax preparers have access to the forms needed.  In addition, 22 vendors are providing the forms directly to businesses.

The forms are still in draft form at this time because the Legislature has not yet adjourned for the year.  The Department of Treasury waits to declare forms final until after the Legislature has adjourned in case other changes are made in the law that will affect the forms.
