Kim joined Karoub Associates in 1999. A former legislator, he represented the 83rd House District in Michigan's thumb area for six years. Prior to serving in the House, Kim worked 15 years for National Bank of Detroit. As a legislator he was responsible for reforming the state's retirement system and also distinguished himself as Vice Chairman of the Business and Finance Committee. Shelly joined Karoub Associates in 1997. She is the former Finance Director for the Michigan Republican State Committee and was one of four individuals appointed by Governor John Engler to his 1995 Inaugural Committee.
